 Alabama Realty is an expanding company with its roots on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Our company was founded in 1989 by Howard Yeager as Island Realty Corporation on the beautiful Dauphin Island, Alabama. We have been Dauphin Island's most progressive Real Estate Company and are the only company that is developing and marketing residential, commercial & resort properties, for sale, lease, or rent on the island. We have 30 years experience in developing properties on the Alabama Gulf Coast, including developments in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Ono Island and have been developing Dauphin Island properties since 1989. Our most recent development "The Fish Camps at Dauphin Island" is the premiere address on Dauphin Island.
Howard was joined in 2001 by J. Reid Cummings whose experience in Real Estate and Development started right after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982. "Reid became a Partner and Executive Vice President of Island Realty Corporation on Dauphin Island. Reid has since started his own Real Estate Company specializing in commercial properties in Mobile and Baldwin counties".
In 2005, Hallie Brown joined the company as a Partner and Executive Vice-President. Phil Purpura joined the company as a Partner the same year. Because of expansion to areas off Dauphin Island and because of multiple office locations, it became apparent that to better serve our clients and customers we needed to change our name to Alabama Realty. All the same great people that have been serving you for many years on Dauphin Island, and a couple more, will continue to serve you PLUS we have several new people in our Mobile office.
