This one has it all! Step into "Set Sail" with it's high ceilings, open floor plan, tons of windows drenching the house with the island's natural light unobstructed, panaramic views of the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and the gentle waters of the Mississippi Sound to the north.
The Great Room offers two seperate seating areas divided by the kitchen and dining area. On the gulf side, gather around the large, L-shaped sofa and fire place. On the Sound side, you'll find plenty of seating, a large coffee table perfectly stocked with lots of board games, and a TV with DVD player and satellite. The functional kitchen offers plenty of prep area for the cook, a stainless steel double sink, side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water, microwave, range/oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender,electric can opener, and all dish, glass,and silverware. The breakfast bar seats 4 and the dining table seats an additional 8.
The four bedrooms flank the house. On the east, the Gulf side bedroom offers a set of quality bunk beds and a futon - perfect for the kids. The Sound side bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed and extra seating. Between the bedrooms, guests will find a 'Jack-n-Jill' bathroom with separate single vanities and shared tub and stand up shower. To the west, both Gulf and Sound side bedrooms are furnished with Queen sized bed and TV's with satellite. The 'Jack-n-Jill' bathroom has seperate vanities and a shared stand up shower. Access to the decks is available from all 4 bedrooms! An additional guest 1/2 bath is also included.
Enjoy the covered, wrap-around porch with views from every angle and seating on both Gulf and Sound side. The sound side porch is screened in and great for napping in the island breeze. The lower Sound-side with bench seating is perfect for tanning and grilling out.
Linens are provided. Air conditioned with ceiling fans inside and out. Parking for 4 under the house and and plenty of room in the driveway for a boat or RV. The house is graciously stocked with books, games, and movies. Easy walking to waters of the Gulf and the Mississippi Sound. Bring the '4-legged' members of the family for a small fee. |
